Coaching School 
The Get-Inline coaching programme was established to provide the opportunity for people to experience a fast and fun alternative sport. Our skater hockey training offers high quality coaching, allowing each player to achieve their full potential. Participation in this comprehensive programme also promotes fitness, social skills and the importance of teamwork. Our three progressive grading assessments (beginner to advanced) evaluate and recognise player’s abilities with certificates and medals awarded on successful completion of each level.

Inline Hockey Sessions in Bristol for Beginners (7 -16 years old)

Requirements:
Ideally players should have their own hockey skates or inline skates to attend this session. We do have some hire skates so please phone if you require them on 0117 930 4694.
Session content and information :
Players attending this session don’t need any previous hockey experience or knowledge of the game. This will be provided through group discussion, structured drills and match situations. During these sessions the Get-inline coaches will teach the basics of skating, passing, shooting, puck handling, game situation and fitness, in a fun and friendly environment.
The next step.........
Once players have achieved the basics they have the option to take part in our enjoyable and rewarding hockey ‘Grades’ (1, 2 and 3). Players taking this route can be coached to club level and become involved playing competitively.
Inline Hockey Session in Bristol Full Kit Group (9-16 years old)

Players must have their own inline hockey skates or inline skates to attend this session, as well as the official 'full protective kit'.
Session content and information :
We are coaching this session to a standard that will allow players to succeed at Junior League Level.
The next step.........
Once players have acheived a good standard of hockey they will be invited in play in Tournaments and Leagues across the country. There is also the opportunity to play ice hockey at amateur and semi professional level. (please ring for further details)
Inline Hockey Session Somerset - Beginners (7-12 years)

Inline Hockey Grades 1, 2 and 3
Three progressive grading assessments (beginner to advanced) have been designed to evaluate and recognise player’s abilities. Certificates and medals are awarded on successful completion of each level. These comprehensive courses also promote fitness, social skills and the importance of teamwork. The grading and assessment scheme is run in association with North Somerset Council's Junior Sports Development Programme which was developed to encourage young people to try out alternative sports.
Grade 1 (beginner)
This course is designed to get the complete beginner started in the skater hockey game. We encourage everybody with an interest to give this a go, as its extremely enjoyable and rewarding.

Grade 2 (intermediate)
Grade 2 looks at the basics of the game .The main emphasis in this grade is learning about the importance of timing and awareness. An extensive range of techniques in skating, passing, shooting, checking and puck handling are also taught. We also help players improve on the core skills learnt in Grade 1. More realistic match situations are created and players experience the game at a much higher tempo.

Grade 3 (advanced)
Grade 3 takes a much more detailed look at the game. Players are coached in power play, short handed and penalty kill tactics at competitive standards that replicates league level hockey. Tactical scenarios are taught along with more complex drills than in Grade 2. A further emphasis is placed on dynamic skating and puck handling skills, with much higher standards expected in order to pass.

Sk8 fit Group bookings for 8 skaters or more
Sk8 fit is an aerobic style workout on inline skates. It incorporates circuit training and endurance drills whilst teaching a range of skating techniques. It’s designed for beginners and recreational skaters alike- so if you are keen to improve you’re skating and fitness, in a relaxed, friendly environment this may well be the course for you!
The programme will not disappoint the experienced skater either, as we will endeavour to refine your skills further and push you just that little bit harder if you so wish! This programme is particularly suitable if you are learning to ski or a training cyclist, as inline skating is the perfect sport for improving balance, agility and stamina.

- You will need to provide your own inline skates.
- All skaters need to be a minimum of 16 years old.
- All skaters need to bring a drink to every session-ideally water.

- Individual lessons are £25 per half hour lesson (using whole sports hall)
- £50 per hour (using whole sports hall).
- Group lessons of 2-5 skaters £75 per hour (whole hall)
During the session we will work on developing all aspects of the skating stride technique helping to improve skaters of any age and ability.
